Medical Network EMN AG is an independent Swiss company formed to create a multimedia distance-learning service for the healthcare professions in Europe.
The company has successfully concluded a two-year "Field Trial" in order to test technical feasibility and market acceptance. This pilot project has been funded and supported by its own private shareholders, the European Space Agency (ESA) as well as strategic allies.
EMN made its market entry in autumn 2004 and currently is preparing its programme schedule for
autumn 2006.
Its concept has been supported by among others UEMO (European Union of General Practitioners) and UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists).

a periodic menu of interactive multimedia CME distance-learning modules and courses, aimed primarily at Primary Care Providers (including, where appropriate, General Practitioners, Specialists in Familiy Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gynaecology, Paediatrics et al.) but also provides valuable teaching materials for doctors in training.

The network is designed on a broadband Internet platform, offering CME content
